I advocate for self-love. When I started my journey embracing self-love. I had to understand how to protect my peace. I realized that I was letting certain things disturb my peace unknowingly. I took a step back. Looked at everything to know what was benefiting me and taken away from me. I was able, to be honest with myself and admit I was allowing so much to enter into my mental space. I like to be helpful to everyone. It's not bad wanting to help others in a time of need but its a true disservice to your mental health. Protecting your peace sounds like an easy task. It takes more work than it seems. Take some time to reflect on the things around you. Ask yourself does this situation benefit me or drain me? For you to enter into your next step of life, you must be honest with yourself. Please know that your life matters more than anything else in the world. Protect your peace and love yourself.

I recently had an awesome opportunity to present my photography in the Raw-artists showcase this past week. This was my very first showcase and this was by far, one of the most memorable moments of my life. Im super grateful to have my family and friends who came out to support. Im really excited about some of the other creatives I got to meet with hopes of creating more great things. I received some awesome feedback from other fellow photographers, which made me feel very good. The overall journey preparing for this showcase was challenging at its best. I knew the end result would be a true reward. I hope to continue to grow, expand my talents and continue capture moments for the world to see. Stay tuned.
